The February 3rd Pre-Conference Day will offer a choice of workshops led by members of the EdTechTeacher team as well as other featured instructors from across the country.
Focusing on elementary classrooms, in this session, we will help educators leverage these devices to support younger learners. This workshop will address age-appropriate concepts such as developing student fluency and voice, integrating physical and digital learning objects, and creating centers of learning.
This workshop is geared towards middle and high school teachers looking to create the iPad classroom. From consumption to creation to curation, you will learn strategies and apps for putting iPads in the service of learning.
The Creating Digital & Multimedia Content workshop focuses on the development of custom learning objects and App Smashing. In particular, we will address the creation of iBooks, ePubs, audio, video, and more.
For those who have already attended one of our iPad Classroom workshops, or have extensive experience with iPads, this workshop will include an exploration of advanced curation, creation and organization using iPads. Advanced workflow strategies will be covered as well multi-app combination scenarios to create multimedia content.
If booking flights out of San Diego, we recommend a departure time that is after 6:00 pm. The Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is approximately two hours away, depending on traffic, and may have more affordable ticket prices.
